ABOUT EngineeringGarage.com is a quaint effort to promote general technical knowledge of vehicle racing dynamics, and to create a place for professionals and enthusiusts to share their experiences, photos, and know-how. The creator, Jason, is currently a Graduate Research Assistant for the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems in the Computational Manufacturing and Design group at Mississippi State University. He is currently working on research related to the MultiStage Modeling of Polymers. Fountain graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in the Summer of 2008 and received the Automotive Engineering Certificate from the Bagely College of Engineering in Spring 2009. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an expected December 2010 graduation. Currently, Fountain is a graduate advisor for the MSU Motorsports Formula SAE team but was a member from Fall 2005 to Summer 2009, and has served as webmaster, chassis team leader, engineering systems leader and team leader. In his 'spare time', he enjoys restoring his 1966 Austin Healey Sprite.
